Pumpkin Harvest Hoot

It’s that time of the year again!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This month, Kinder Buddies Oakville daycare will be visiting the Springridge Farm for their yearly Pumpkin Harvest Hoot. Our children, staff and parent volunteers will spend the day at Springridge Farm where they will take part in festivities including:

• wagon rides;
• jumping in straw bales;
• exploring the boo barn; and
• visiting the pumpkin patch where they will pick a pumpkin to take home. 

 

Springridge Farm is a safe, educational and fun area for families to explore and play. The tractor drawn wagon ride provides a great view from the Niagara Escarpment while learning about the farm and the land around. Children will be able to visit the farm animals and talk about the changes and characteristics of harvest time. The programs and activities of the day are modified to be age appropriate while correlating with the Ontario Science and Technology curriculum.
