Fun Family Day Activities in Oakville

Kinder Buddies Oakville daycare wishes all of our Families a fun Family Day Weekend 2016. A long weekend is always nice, and this one has a focus on the family. What better way to spend Family Day then with the whole family? While it is nice to stay home, it may be fun instead to go out for a change. Oakville has plenty of events planned for families.

Free Family Activities in Oakville

• Free Swims – Escape the cold this weekend by going swimming at a rec centre! Standard swimming admission applies.
• Free Skate – It’ll be cold outside but a much easier climate at an indoor arena for skating! Skates and Helmets will be available at Maple Grove Arena, River Oaks Community Centre and Sixteen Mile Sports Complex. Plenty of fun to be had from Recreational Skates to Family Shinny Hockey (Full equipment required).
• Toopy and Binoo – Toopy and Binoo will be visiting the Black Box Theatre (Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre) to preform! Tickets are free but limited space, tickets available 1 hour before the show.
• Family Story Time – Plenty of options for Family Story Time available from 10am-12pm at Glen Abbey and Iroquois Ridge libraries.
• Family Gaming – Play some air hockey or board games at the Peter Gilgan Family YMCA in the Youth Room starting at 9am until 3pm!
