Inclement Weather at Kinder Buddies

Our number one priority at Kinder Buddies is always safety, for our children and our staff. Being in Oakville means our winters can have ice and snow, which can create unsafe driving conditions. During inclement weather we do suggest families stay home and stay safe.

Kinder Buddies is closed whenever local schools (Halton Public and Catholic District School Board) are closed for poor weather conditions. If the decision to close is made before our centre has opened this decision will be made by 6:30am. If a decision is made to close while Centre is in session, this decision will be made by 12:00pm. In this case, you will be notified of the closure and pick-up arrangements will have to be made accordingly.

The Kinder Buddies Centre Director will record a message on the Centre telephone service stating that Centre will be closed and the date that the closure applies to. It is your responsibility to call in to become aware of any closures.

Parents will be responsible for their children’s regular fees for up to 2 consecutive days of closure. If the Centre is closed for more than 2 consecutive days, your fees will be ceased until the school reopens.
